Empowering Students
The Story
Dr. M. Manoj Bhagat Sharma received a scholarship from the Indian government to do his PhD in the UK. This life changing opportunity made him feel a strong responsibility to help others who have big dreams but come from low income or rural backgrounds. In 2017, he started by helping his friends apply for higher education abroad. By 2021, he saw that many talented students couldn’t even apply to top universities because they couldn’t afford the application fees or other costs before leaving. During his PhD, he worked part-time jobs and used that money to support these students. To make this support more official and organized, he registered a company called Ceigoz Global Dynamics Pvt Ltd in 2023 in India. Then, on February 2, 2025, he launched a special scholarship called Dr. MMBS Scholarships to help more students.
One important program under this scholarship is “Gayathri Viswanathan – Empower Her Program”, which supports female students. This program gives free English coaching, personality development training, and pays for application fees so they can apply to top universities with confidence. Dr. Sharma continues to support students who dream of studying abroad, because he believes no one should miss an opportunity just because they can’t afford it.
